Small Business Startup Help

Here is some small business startup help to get you up and running, with the least risk of failing.

If you are looking for fresh new business ideas, business loans, insurance or help with a web site then see the appropriate navigation bars on the right, but if you've had a good idea, and want help with the initial planning and management, then read on.

Over 90% of all small businesses failure can be traced to poor management, lack of planning and under capitalisation, according to a recent Dun and Bradstreet survey.

Specific advice on starting your small business is beyond the scope of the '4 Small Businesses team' but luckily with 'Citizens Advice Bureau' around, I don't need to!

All I need to do is point you to the link as usual, and let them do all the good work for you.

And how good are they? OUTSTANDING!

Citizens Advice Bureau provide free, confidential and independent advice from over 3,200 locations in the UK, including in bureau, GP surgeries, hospitals, colleges, prisons and courts. Advice is available face-to-face and by telephone. Most bureau offer home visits and some also provide email advice.

Their advice helps people resolve their debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems and is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

They even provide an 'Online CAB Advice' service.

Visit them for practical, reliable, up-to-date information in English, Welsh, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Urdu and Chinese on a wide range of topics.

Information is continuously reviewed by a team of advisers and covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

And just in case you missed the best bit back there ALL CAB SERVICES ARE FREE.

Quick tip. I believe you will get the most out of their service, if you have already thought through most of the questions that they are likely to ask.
