My personal definition of a business is "a system put in place by the business owner, which makes money even in the absense of the owner"
Notes
- If your business doesn't make money, ie. profit, consistently then what you have is a hobby, not a business.
- If your business doesn't make profit "in the absense of you, the owner" then what you have is a job, not a business.
